You will find Le Colombier in the south of the Vendée. The Vendée on the Atlantic Coast is well known for its mild climate and long sandy beaches. The rich history of the Vendée is to be traced in a wide variety of historical monuments. You will find more information about the region in the pages of the surroundings.
From the beginning of April onwards - if the weather conditions allow us to do so - we heat our beautiful swimming pool.
Le Colombier is established on a 50 ha (125 acres) domain covering an entire valley comprising a small stream, a pond and meadows inserted in 14 ha of forest. The flora is astonishing in its diversity. In the central part lies an ancient manorial farmhouse with a tower and several barns, acting as a décor for a marvellous large heated swimming pool surrounded by a huge terrace.
We are well known for the spacious pitches, freedom, good sanitary equipments and of course the friendly atmosphere in the bar and restaurant. Next to the weekly activities such as baking bread and pizza’s, jeu de boules tournaments, the guests have the possibility to organise various activities.
Le Colombier is readily accessible to motorcars and caravans (176 pitches). Dogs are admitted, provided they are kept on a leash. The membership of a naturist organisation is no longer obligatory, however we may ask you to show us an identity card.
Our camp site is accessible for disabled persons.
Open every day during the high season.
La Clef Verte: With this label we have a close affinity and hopefully you too being a naturist. This label is a European acknowledgement with regard to an environmentally friendly management and actions. The emphasis for this label lies for instance in the use of rainwater to flush the toilets, the use of low energy lamps, sun panels, etc.
