At
Le Colombier you have the possibility to join various pleasant
activities. You will find all the necessary information on our
publication board, at the reception and/or in the bar. Some of the
activities are described below:

- Every afternoon a
group of enthusiastic people play jeu de boules animated by one of our
faithful guests. Twice a week a tournament is organized once for
individual players and the other day for doubles. The group exists of
guests from various nationalities.

- In the low season
a therapist is guiding you to do aqua gym in our heated pool. The big
advantage of aqua gym is that it is fit for all ages, it does not give
any problem for your hinges so you can do the exercises without
problems.

|
|
During high season
we organize a pizza day every Tuesday. Every week this is a great joy
for children as well as adults. The program of this day is as follows:
At 10.30 a.m. the children (and the adults that want to participate)
are resembling in front of the big barn where the farm cart is ready
for departure.
On the journey out
to the woods all the children take place in the big farm cart. In the
woods everybody is gathering dead wood. Some dads are sawing the
branches that are too big to carry. At noon the group returns with the
farm cart full of wood. The branches are collected according to their
thickness and carried to our old original bread oven.

In the mean time our
firemen have already started a fire and they have to work quite some
hours in order to reach the right temperature to bake the bread and
pizzas. At 4.00 p.m. the children come back with a pan or a bowl to
make the dough for their bread. Every week it is a pleasure to see the
enthusiasm and the fantasy with which the children make their bread.

All the breads are
put in the oven and come out again at about 6.00 p.m. At that time
everybody that has booked for a pizza is coming to the terrace to make
the base for their pizza.

|
In the bar all the
ingredients are set out; at the end of the table a number is placed on
the pizza and it does not take long before the first pizzas are coming
out of our oven and the numbers of the ready baked pizzas are being
called off.

For the children we
organize in July and August many different activities. Last year for
example we organized a color match and the winners got the opportunity
to repaint their drawing on the side of the farm cart in which we
collect the wood for the pizza day. Almost every day we organize
fiddling hours, chase of phantom, fox hunt, living “Stratego” , 4 days
of swimming, etc.

In July and August
we organize music evenings on the Saturdays.
