CREATIVE WORKSHOPS
GRAPHIC ART, DRAWING AND PAINTING
Le Colombier will arrange Creative Workshops under supervision of Wied Groenland (artist-graphic artist-designer).
Starting in July till half of August 2008. From 10 till 12.30h. am, and 14 till 16.30h. PM.
In order of announcement one can choose a discipline and session time from following workshops.
- Graphic Art:
- Monotype (flat printing).
Using drawing and painting techniques with printer’s ink one image is printed at the time. Working on
again on that image, a different picture (sort of metamorphose) will be printed, and so on.
- Etching (deep printing).
After dry point drawing or etching a drawing with acid on a plate, deep parts of that plate will be filled
with etching ink and printed on a etching press on smooth wet etching paper.
- Painting :
- Aquarelle (Water-color).
A painting discipline using thin water color paint with soft brush on prepared water color paper.
- Acrylic
All painting techniques using synthetic (water based) paint on wooden panel, canvas or heavy paper.
- Drawing :
- Most known techniques. Which is preferred (e.g. pencil, crayon, charcoal).
Member in order of registration. Bringing ones own materials is preferred. Rates depend on group size
and eventually use of present materials and tools.
Group up to 5 persons: 5 € per session p.p., 22 € a week (5 sessions) p.p.
Reserved group from 6 persons (12 persons maximum): 20 € a week .p.p.
Rates for using present materials or tools are additionally.
